The Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM) is an Australian and New Zealand multidisciplinary society whose mission is to advance the clinical practice of medical ultrasound for the highest standards of patient care. As the peak professional society, ASUM’s Annual Scientific Meeting is the premier event of the ultrasound calendar. This year’s overarching theme is ‘Excellence and Innovation’ which aims to ensure the comprehensive program provides delegates with the clinical theory and practical hands on experience that they require for their professional development. Our venue is the Hilton hotel in the beautiful harbour city of Sydney.

The conference program will focus on current and new ultrasound practices and technology across Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Vascular, MSK, General, Point of Care and Paediatrics. With a focus on current and future developments in ultrasound practice, the conference brings an opportunity to refine your current skills, learn new skills and provides a great opportunity to share and learn with past and new colleagues. Plenary talks will allow a fascinating look into the use of ultrasound at Taronga Zoo and an exploration of how e-commerce and IT innovations affect modern practice. Our popular workshops will have a range of fresh surprises and our registrar days will be a must attend for all RANZCOG and RANZCR trainees. There might even be a little touch of celebrity!  The exhibition will provide  delegates with quality face to face time with key stakeholders in the industry.
